Dear Me
A Six-Week Journey Into Self-Discovery Through Journaling
What if the most meaningful thing you gave yourself this year was the space to truly listen to yourself?
We spend so much of our lives thinking, planning, doing, and tending to everything and everyone around us. But how often do we create space to slow down and really listen to what's happening within us?
Dear Me is a six-week guided journaling series designed to help you reconnect with yourself through the simple yet powerful practice of putting pen to paper.
Because journaling is so much more than writing down your thoughts.
Throughout this series, we'll explore the benefits of journaling and how it differs from simply thinking about our experiences. While our minds can easily get caught in repetitive thoughts, journaling allows us to slow down, bring those thoughts into awareness, and begin exploring them from a different perspective.
You'll learn how writing can support emotional processing, increase self-awareness, help you recognize patterns and beliefs, and create space for greater clarity, compassion, and personal growth.
What You'll Learn & Experience
Each week, I'll introduce a different aspect of journaling, combining education, guided writing exercises, personal reflection, and practical tools you can continue using at home.
Together, we'll explore:
The Science & Benefits of Journaling: Understand why journaling can be beneficial for emotional well-being, stress management, self-awareness, and personal growth.
Journaling vs. Thinking: Discover the difference between getting caught in your thoughts and intentionally exploring them through writing.
Different Ways to Journal: Learn a variety of techniques, including freewriting, reflective inquiry, emotional processing, gratitude journaling, and more.
Understanding Your Emotions: Explore how journaling can help you identify, express, and better understand what you're feeling.
Recognizing Patterns & Beliefs: Become more aware of recurring thoughts, internal narratives, and behaviours that may be influencing your experiences.
Cultivating Self-Compassion: Learn to approach yourself with curiosity and understanding rather than judgment.
What to Expect Each Week
Our 90-minute sessions will include a combination of education, discussion, guided journaling, and reflection.
You'll be introduced to a new journaling technique each week, with time to explore it during our session. You'll also receive reflective questions and simple writing practices to explore between gatherings.
These practices are invitations, not assignments. There is no pressure to complete everything, write every day, or share anything you've written.
This isn't six weeks of homework. It's six weeks of learning how to make space for yourself.
My intention is for you to leave this series with a greater understanding of yourself, a collection of journaling tools you can turn to throughout your life, and the confidence to create a practice that works for you.
Whether you've been journaling for years or have never picked up a journal before, you are welcome here.

A Little Invitation
You don't need to be a writer. You don't need to know what to say. And you certainly don't need to have everything figured out.
You simply need a willingness to become curious about yourself.
Because sometimes the greatest discoveries don't come from thinking harder, doing more, or searching outside ourselves.
Sometimes they begin when we slow down enough to listen.
Your story is still unfolding. Come discover what's waiting between the lines.
